    About us

    Our brass curriculum

    We teach brass lessons to students from beginners to college players. We focus on the fundamentals of brass performance including proper breathing techniques, sightreading skills along with rudimentry to advanced articulation skills. All brass literature and scale work for competitions are covered. 

    On-site and offsite lessons

    We are now offering lessons in the Long Island area! We have multiple slots available on-site and very limited slots to travel to your location . If you are interested in these options please contact us for further information.

    Company CEO bio

    My name is John J. Hacker III and I have been a music educator, brass educator and freelance trumpet player for the past 21 years. I have a B.M. in music education and an M.M. in music education. I have worked at a public school as a music educator for the past 21 years. I have been incredibly fortunate to have talented trumpet teachers throughout my career. I love playing trumpet and enjoy passing on knowledge to the next generation.
